Four Achievements of Sino-heavymach Win Shaanxi Science and Technology Awards

(Reported by Hao Jin from Department of Technical Work) Recently, the People's Government of Shaanxi Province announced the decision of 2022 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Awards. Four scientific research achievements of Sino-heavymach have been awarded, including two second prizes and two third prizes. To be specific, High-quality Strip Finishing Line Core Equipment Research and its Industrialized Production Technology Development and Intelligent LF One-click Refining Technology Development and Application were awarded as the second prizes, and High-efficiency and Energy-saving Mechanical Vacuum System for Liquid Steel Refining and its Equipment Technology and High-efficiency Corrosion-resistant Bimetallic Composite Pipe Hydraulic Bulging Technology and Equipment won the third prizes.

High-quality Strip Finishing Line Core Equipment Research and its Industrialized Production Technology Development has initiated the full process integrated design and core equipment technology of after treatment, resolved production difficulties of diversified plate and strip materials and large thickness range during finishing process, so as to achieve the effective and stable mill line with multiple product mix; meanwhile a high-precision side trimmer with overlapping amount and lateral gap adjustment mechanism and setting technology, and high-precision mechanical equipment reversing gap compensation control system was researched and developed, a trimming technological database based on expert system and big data was established to meet the trimming quality of various specifications of plate and strip. The comprehensive control technology of plate and strip edge, profile and surface quality during finishing process was researched and developed to realize the precise control of strip profile, surface quality and edge quality in whole process. The successful research, development and application of this technology has broken through the long-term blockade of high-tech finishing equipment and technologies by foreign countries, solved the technical problems constrained the independent development of automobile industry and extra-high voltage power transmission and transformation industry to high-end level, and realized the nationalization of high quality automobile plate and high magnetic strength orientated silicon steel. It has also promoted industrial upgradation and structural optimization, and satisfied the major strategic requirements of national high-end manufacturing industries.

 

Intelligent LF One-click Refining Technology Development and Application has made significant achievements in the process of 1500high temperature smelting steel entering into station, automatic uncovering, robot temperature measuring, heating-up, precise feeding till  lid, exiting from station, which break through bottlenecks of whole  refining process and technology, and established LF one-click metallurgical process parameters prediction model, researched and developed automatic lid and uncover operation, LF one-click refining tapping temperature control technology, and LF smelting process one-click refining process and intelligent adjusting and control system such as real-time on-line high temperature liquid level detection,  integrated temperature real-time prediction, and electrode intelligent adjusting control, realized the precise acquisition and control of liquid steel refining characteristic information under high temperature condition, and the closed-circuit control of argon blowing in refining furnace and the accurate smelting control, so the product quality is effectively improved. These series of key innovative technologies realize the whole process automatic refining without operator intervention, improve production efficiency, and reduce the operational risk and labor intensity to a great extent. The successful development of this technology sets a model for intelligent refining production in China, and brings far-reaching influence on development of ultra-pure molten steel production technology.

High-efficiency and Energy-saving Mechanical Vacuum System for Liquid Steel Refining and its Equipment Technology has set-up the pump configuration calculation model for large-scale dry-type mechanical vacuum pump system of liquid steel refining, developed four-stage multiple vacuum pumps network-type parallel and cascading system, and integrated coordinated control system, and optimized the design scheme of high vacuum gas cooling and dust collector, solved problems of high energy consumption, heavy environmental pollution, and difficult adjustment and control of conventional steam jet vacuum pump, and realize high efficiency, energy saving and coordinated control of liquid steel refining furnace, which are convenient for maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment. Compared to conventional steam jet vacuum pump system, the application of this technology has greatly reduced the per-ton refining electricity consumption, increased the yield rate of molten steel, and has capabilities to produce various product mix. The high value-added pure steel produced has been sold to main steel enterprises at home and abroad, and has been well received by many clients.

High-efficiency Corrosion-resistant Bimetallic Composite Pipe Hydraulic Bulging Technology and Equipment developed a series of oil-controlled water pressurization systems, holding and clamping oil hydraulic system and two-end oil feeding hydraulic system, established  the mechanical model of bimetallic composite pipe during elastoplastic deformation, invented the reliable device to exhaust the air existed between inner and outer wall during bulging and ultra-high pressure sealing device. The above-mentioned innovative technologies helped solving the corrosion problem of ordinary carbon steel pipe, broke the bottleneck of technology and equipment in bimetallic compound pipe expanding forming, improved pressure bearing ability, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance of bimetallic compound pipe in oil and gas industry, upgraded the overall manufacturing level of bimetallic compound pipe in China, and filled the technological gap in this field. It lays a foundation for exploration and transportation of highly corrosive oil and gas fields, and also provides a technical support for the rapid development of state chemical energy environmental protection industry.
