Founded in 1956 in Beijing, moved to Xi`an since 1961, China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd. (SINO-HEAVYMACH for short), formerly known as Xi’an Heavy Machinery Research Institute, is one of China’s earliest state-level scientific research institutes, became a member of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, one of the Global Top 500 Companies, since 1999.

SINO-HEAVYMACH mainly goes in for engineering design, EPC contracting, consulting and providing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic integrated services to steelmakers, covering coking, ironmaking, secondary refining, continuous casting, rolling, forging/extrusion and environmental protection etc.

SINO-HEAVYMACH aims at becoming a solution provider for metallurgical engineering and heavy machinery manufacturing to achieve a win-win cooperation with you.

After nearly 60 years of development, SINO-HEAVYMACH has grown into a large technological innovation-oriented enterprise, playing an important role in heavy machinery industry in China. Now, SINO-HEAVYMACH has developed large batches of technologies and supplied more than 2000 sets of equipment for hundreds of factories in China, including Baosteel, Ansteel, Shousteel, WISCO, TISCO, TPCO, Pansteel ect. and some units exported to countries in Europe, America and Asia, including South Korea, India, America, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Myanmar, Vietnam etc. SINO-HEAVYMACH obtained more than 700 patents, including 207 authorized patents, and more than 300 items won the national and provincial Sci-tech Progress Prize.
